First of all, I am not expecting that Martin Scorsese to the Directing Oscar for his film, The Departed.
On the acting awards, I am expecting that Forest Whitaker won Lead Actor Oscar for The Last King of Scotland, Helen Mirren won Lead Actress Oscar for The Queen, and Jennifer Hudson won Supporting Actress for Dreamgirls, but I am quite expecting that Eddie Murphy will take the Supporting Actor Oscar for Dreamgirls, but went to Alan Arkin for his performance/role/character as a foul-mouthed but loving grandpa in Little Miss Sunshine.
I thought the Mexican film, Pan’s Labyrinth, will take home the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar trophy, but went to The Lives of Others (Das Leben der Anderen) of Germany.

I was correct in all my guesses for all the main categories except Best Foreign Language Film and Best Supporting Actress.
On the other hand, I think my bias towards Pan’s Labryth (wanted it to win) + that Mexican lady from Babel (wanted her to win Best Supporting Actress)… clouded my judgment.
Strangely, I got a lot of guesses correctly – even for the minor awards for stuff that’d I never seen. I just based my guess at that moment, after seeing those short 15 sec. intros that they play after announcing the nominee’s name.
